Jim triggs archtop custom
This is a custom built archtop by Jim Triggs in 2019. Jim spent many years working in the Gibson custom shop beginning in 1986 I have owned several of his Gibson custom shop guitar and they were amazing. Still regret letting those go! I am the second owner of this guitar. I bought this from a buddy who did the original custom order. Once I played it, I had to have it. LOL
This was ordered without the traditional F hole's. He envisioned this as his gig guitar but I can tell you he felt it was too nice to take out on a gig. So i got lucky i guess. But do to health reasons, I am reducing my guitar numbers Its is a pro level instrument in every way. Stunning woods throughout. The sound is breathtaking! Truly head and shoulders above most of the guitars out there. The guitar is in near mint condition. It’s never seen a gig. Extremely easy to play with low action set-up. I play fingerstyle and with a pick and it handles both brilliantly. Just a joy to play! Original TKL case included. Jazz chords are lush and articulate. Single note melodies are clear and full bodied. Love to play chord melody on this baby. It would be a great addition to any archtop collection.
