Default My arrangement of "Wichita Lineman" by Glen Campbell/Jimmy Webb on a new Taran guitar

Hey AGF fam,

Hope all's well!

Taran Guitars was gracious enough to upload this one-take performance of my arrangement of "Wichita Lineman" by Glen Campbell/Jimmy Webb to their YouTube channel earlier, love to hear your thoughts! The guitar has been so wonderful to get to know in the last month, it is at once sweet and airy while maintaining authoritative bass response and midrange fundamental. Rory and co. totally knocked it out of the park!

No EQ or compression added to best represent the sound...had Elixir strings on for this recording. Matched pair of Schoeps CMC-6 microphones through an Apollo X4 interface used. More video to come! Headphones highly recommended

Enjoy the weekend!

One of the best songs ever written, played superbly. You capture the feeling Dustin, which goes way beyond manual dexterity.

Very special, Dustin. This might just be my favorite arrangement of yours - and that's a very high bar!

Jimmy Webb might even smile (like your out-tro/ending to boot)

Very well done! Even without words, you maintained the emotion & meaning of the original intent! Jimmy Webb is one of the best songwriters of all time that no one ever heard of! LOL! He wrote so many for the artists of the 60s & 70s, songs that most only give credit to the artists that recorded them! Again, bravo!
