Been on a Todd Rundgren kick lately. Revisiting Something/Anything. Also making my own Spotify playlist. Cant get enough of the song Just One victory.

Have you heard this version?

Produced by Todd. I've seen the Hello People a couple of times, once at a concert an old friend of mine did during his concert production days, with Buzzy Linhart, Pure Prairie League, Hello People, and Todd with Utopia, on July 4th, 1974. Todd brought a crate full of fireworks in his helicopter for after the concert.

The second time was when the Hello People opened a show with George Carlin in 1975.

As I type, I've run through the following, for no real reason:

"Kiss Me" - Sixpence None The Richer
"Dreams" - Cranberries
"The Stroll" - The Diamonds
"I Got Stung" - The Collins Kids

Weird playlist, hey?!

Been listening to a pre-release of the new Jethro Tull album. Much more modern sounding, but classic Tull, despite it only being Mr Anderson now. Here's the official sample which dropped this week:

Not sure about this - almost unrecognisable from the original by Hamilton Camp, or perhaps the definitive reading by the Quicksilver Messenger Service:

I love most things Chris Thile does, but maybe I need more listenings to it,

Thoughts??

How 'bout some solo Stevie Winwood? Singing "John Barleycorn (Must Die)" from the days of Traffic...

Past few days it has been the new Kiefer Sutherland album, which came out this week, of which this is my early favourite:

Yes, so it's the classic 'Let It Be' or 'Farmhouse' progression, but it's a great driving song. Rest of the album is good too. Just waiting for the rearranged UK tour dates.
