Ya seriously, I'm 60 yrs on now, and the best thing I ever did was study classical/flamenco for 40 or so yrs. Lucky kid to have had that foundation. It's like a magic potion technique-wise. John McLaughlin (80th b'day this month) said that flamenco was just the superior technique in acoustic guitar. (being a player, I totally agree) It allowed me to study far and broad.
