2006 R. Taylor Style 1 Mah/Adi ***SOLD****
I purchased this guitar from Todd (fitness1) about a month ago. This is the second R. Taylor I have purchased and this guitar, like the first, does not disappoint. It sounds amazing as it should. The problem, if you call it a problem, is that it overlaps the sound of my Caleb Smith. As much as I would like to keep it, it has to go. I'm linking Todd's post that has pictures and I will send/upload pictures of the finish issue. Todd is a very stand up guy and seriously overstated the finish issue. It wasn't even close to what I had envisioned in my head.
Build Date - 9-28-2006 Style 1 Tropical Mahogany B/S Bearclaw Adirondack Top 65' Top Geometry Modified X Bracing 25.5 Scale Tropical Mahogany Neck 1.75 Nut RT Standard Carve Neck Passive ES Electronics The used tag that is in the case has it listed at $3575. https://www.acousticguitarforum.com/...d.php?t=502783 I need to clear $1975 after everything.

I simply cannot fathom why this guitar is still available! I am a very biased R-Taylor fan and owner, and the price here is crazy for the tone and sheer build prowess you get with these fine instruments. I'd buy this in an instant if I could swing the funds ...someone please buy this before I am reduced to begging the CFO!

I am shocked this one is still around at a price that is less that a 416 and is creeping into 316 territory.
As an owner of an R. Taylor I can personally vouch for the spot these guitars represent. R. Taylors sit right with Collings, Santa Cruz, and Huss & Dalton in build quality and attention and time built in construction. IMHO the tone is also on par. Someone please buy this thing before I own another guitar my sore should will not appreciate.
