Default *SOLD* Breedlove Oregon Concert CE 25th Anniversary $1250 *Price Dropped*

I really hate the idea of selling this guitar but I just don't have enough time to play, and this beauty deserves more playing-time.

I love the look of the guitar. You can find a light area on the fretboard near the cutaway which really gives the guitar a character. To my ears this is a perfect guitar for fingerstyle - only 200 made to celebrate Breedlove's 25th anniversary (I'm a Breedlove fan btw), slim neck, amazing playability, lush yet balanced tone. You can find lots of complement on AGF about the 25th anniversary model.

Guitar is in excellent/mint condition, with just a tiny mark on the top as I pictured.

The electronics are amazing. Very discreet, two dials in the sound hole.

Comes with original hardshell case and there is a problem with the case (see the last few photos). When I purchased the guitar from the previous owner he told me the faux leather materials on the case shrunk in the heat of his attic (guiitar was not in the case, but rather in a humidity controlled room) revealing the plywood underneath in places. The case is structurally perfect but the outside is a mess. I tried to glue the material back on and it didn't go well.

Man! What a beautiful example of those 25th Anniversary guitars! These are REALLY special little guitars, folks... somehow, the combination of the Port Orford cedar and the myrtle wood really, REALLY shines! Port Orford is not very well known as a top wood... only grows down on the coast of Oregon, not a cedar at all... great headroom and a full, round, rich tone... the myrtle has a lot of flavor of maple/mahogany and a bit o' rosewood to it's contribution to the whole...

I was happy to get to play half-dozen of these in the year they were released, right here in my local store... the first one I played was JAW-DROPPINGLY GOOD! Right off the bench, never played and I could only imagine how that guitar would sound after being "played in" a bit... the first guy who got his hands on it, bought right then and there...

They only made 200 of these and everyone I played was wonderful, with a 2-3 that were just amazing... both for the money and, more importantly, for the sound and volume they put out.

That case IS a mess, however...

Basically a OOO size instrument, these 25th Anniversary models are head and shoulders above the standard Oregon Series combo of Sitka and myrtle... and those are nothing to sniff, either!

Someone is going to be really happy with this guitar! Best of luck for a new home...

Thanks @jseth for the kind words! I truly love the sound of the guitar. Very unique and appealing to my ears. The case is indeed a mess but works perfectly fine

Question; was the guitar in it's case when it was in the attic?

Hi Steve, no the guitar was not in the case. According to the previous owner it was stored in a humidity controlled room. Sorry for the confusion. I just updated the description.
