Default 21016 LG2 American Eagle on the way

I’m a slightly older beginner (51) with worse shoulders than I realized. I have a really nice (I think it is) Tanglewood Tw70AS OM and even it bothers my shoulders. While looking at smaller guitars on this forum I came across a posting for an American Eagle. Knowing nothing about them and being more than I intended or really should spend I did some research. Turns out you guys/gals love them. By the time I got back to the post it was sold. Have looked at several that my gut just told me to stay away from. Ended up buying one today from a private owner that seems to be very lightly used in excellent condition and acceptable price. Only fear is it is being shipped from San Diego to me in south Florida. Will be tough to not open that case for many hours for it to acclimate! Man am I looking forward to this though, just hope I can learn to do it justice.
PS. Be on the look out for a really nice Tanglewood for a fair price!

Congrats! I love mine. Probably the easiest playing guitar I’ve ever played and sounds much bigger than its size. I’ve mine over 2 months now and am still smitten. I hope you enjoy it when you get it.

Out of all the guitars I've owned over the last 45 years, the LG2 is my favorite acoustic, hands down. Enjoy!!

Actually I thought after shipping in high temps for several days you were supposed to leave in the case until it gradually reached room temp. Regardless I’m not taking any chances!😎

Congrats, my 2015 A.E. is a wonderful guitar. Put a set of Martin Retro's
on mine and it turned my LG-2 into a tone monster.

Good luck and enjoy!!

Hi Lillis,
I think the LG2 is a very comfortable guitar. When I was a teen, my best buddy had a B25 (the same shape), and I loved playing that guitar. It ain't going to cover a banjo at a bluegrass jam, but that doesn't seem to be what you want it for.

As a solo or duo instrument, works just fine.

Sorry about the wait. A year from now, you'll have forgotten all about it.
