This warm, lush A-style is a real joy to play. We couldn’t resist putting it in the hands of our friend, Andy Wood, this past weekend. The Engelmann top lends it a wide overtone spectrum for plenty of nuance at any volume and just the right amount of bark when you dig in. It’s round, sweet tone works great solo and plays well with others. The satin top and ivoroid binding are classy and understated. The most affordable Collings mandolin might be all the pickin’ fiddle you’ll ever need!
