Default Sold - 2009 John Walker Petty Creek Elite - Sold

This guitar is John Walker's take on the Gibson Nick Lucas Special. John worked closely with Ren Ferguson in the Gibson Custom Shop before branching out on his own. He is now well known to build the most incredible, authentic Gibson guitars in the industry. This guitar has amazing figured flamed Maple back and sides, an Adirondack Spruce top and and a dense resonant ebony fretboard and bridge. The sound is dark, warm, and incredibly well voiced. Effortless to play. The balance is perfect for finger style but this guitar takes to a pick unlike anything else in its size class. It is in excellent condition. Just got it back from Mr. Walker’s shop in Alberton Montana. He created a new compensated saddle and custom nut, dressed the frets and performed a complete set up. The guitar is now in perfect shape and in immaculate condition. An amazing guitar.

It has a hand sprayed and polished Sunburst, Adirondack Spruce top, Red Spruce braces, Figured Maple back and sides, 1 3/4” nut width, The neck thickness is .86″ at the first and .98″ at the 9th frets. Custom snakewood bridge pins, Waverley tuners. With original custom Cedar Creek hardshell case, Ships fully insured. A new one from Walker Guitars with similar features now runs over $ 6,750.00 with a 2-year wait time.
In Excellent condition.
