The “Killer” is one of a kind for sure, he was fiery hot sauce when many of his contemporaries were plain vanilla.

Upon retirement, I decided to take piano lessons as an adult. In an early lesson, the piano teacher asked me what my piano goal was. I told her I was interested in learning to play like Jerry Lee Lewis, and I asked her what she called that kind of playing. She said: “Trash.”

We parted ways, and that was the end of my piano dream.
