Default A Promise of Spring - cello banjo, banjo lute, sitar, flutes

Here's an original tune. Hope you enjoy it.
I'm playing a banjo lute (5-course Sobell cittern strung with five strings), 5-string cello banjo, and sitar. Jessica Peterson (who created the visuals from images she captured in the Rocky Mountains) is playing silver flute, and a Ralph Sweet Eb Keyless Wood Flute. I composed the tune for cello banjo, and the rest evolved from there.

Nice tune. I particularly like it when the cello banjo kicks in.

That is good!
I thought I heard some medieval influences, and sometimes it goes quite oriental.

I'm a fan of unusual instruments, so this was right up my alley. I enjoyed it.

Tell me/us more about the cello banjo.

Thanks for the tune - nice mix there

For years I've been wanting to record my instruments together - but I'm far too tech unsavvy and just play the accordion instead..

Having developed the neural circuitry to be able to play accordion, I'll bet you can do it.

I'm too lazy actually. I had a lot of recording gear back in the day, but I hate menu diving (neo-luddite). I swore off learning new tech when I retired.

I started playing accordions in the first place because I'm too lazy (to haul an amp, join a band, etc ).

If we had a contest to see who is the lazier, I'd place my bet on me.

Paul I would take that bet. I perform solo, totally without electricity. The last time I changed strings on a guitar - I was at least 10 years younger

I'll see your antique strings and raise you a 60-year-old trumpet mouthpiece.
