Binding question
Hello everyone, I have removed the crumbling binding from a 60s Kay. In doing so one of the layers of the laminate sides has stayed with the removed binding. Is the material left structurally sound enough to just install new binding or do I need to replace the missing layer?

No. The kerfed lining provides the structural component.
