Default Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young cover

It was my 27 year old mother who turned me on to Neil Young music
and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. I remember her playing the first
Neil Young & Crazy Horse album a lot back then. When Crosby, Stills,
Nash & Young released Their first album Deja Vu she played it a lot.
My favorite song from that is Country Girl. A Neil Young masterpiece
for sure. I learned to play it as a teenager and in 2007 I recorded a
solo acoustic version. I thought it would be fun to add 3 more
harmony vocals dubbed over the original recording. This meant one
take only for each vocal otherwise the whole recording was ruined.
I got lucky and it seemed to blend pretty well. Here is my attempt:

Boy, did that bring back memories of me and my brother singing and playing this song on the front porch of our childhood home.

Beautifully done. Thank you very much for posting this great song.

Well done. Nice job on the sync and the production. Can't go wrong with a CSNY cover.

Wow. Ambitious to do any Neil, CSN, or CSNY. You nailed it. Thought you channeled the final refrain beautifully and the harmonies were a great tribute to the original.

Well done!

Cheers,

Dave

Nice job, Gil

I remember you from when you had a different member name. Were there any NY songs you didn't cover?
