Yamaha Stagepas MK II Adding A Monitor Help
Howdy all, I was wondering if anyone can help point me in the right direction of how to add a monitor to my PA system and what is the best way to do it?
I have the Yamaha Stagepas Mk II as my main PA system, the Roland street cube EX for my guitar, and the TC Helicon for my monitor https://uk.yamaha.com/en/products/pr...kii/index.html (Yamaha Stagepas) https://www.roland.com/uk/products/cube_street_ex/ (Street Cube) https://www.andertons.co.uk/tc-elect...ssor-996551061 (TC Helicon) Last year I was doing a bit of busking outdoors so my setup was straight forward, I'd just plug my mic & guitar into the busking amp and I was good to go, but now that I have the PA system and plan to start doing a few pub/bar gigs, I'm wondering what the best way to set it all up would be? Should I continue setting up as I was busking by plugging my mic & guitar into the street cube and then feed that into the PA system, or should I feed everything into the PA system and then use the street cube and/or the TC helicon as a monitor What I'm imaging in my head is, I plug everything into the PA, then use both the street cube & TC helicon as monitors to the left and right of me for extra sound, but I'm not even sure if that's possible with the inputs & outputs at my disposable which is why I've provided the links above to my equipment so hopefully some of you guys with the technical expertise & knowledge can take a look of what my options are, as at the moment I'm a bit baffled on how to create the best setup with the kit I have For example, is it just a case of me taking 2 xlr's out of the PA into both the Roland & TC and that will do it, or is there something I'm missing? Thanks guys for any help & advice offered, if you need any more info, then let me know and I can try and explain things the best way I can |
