I'm not into writing about my guitars to anyone but this is something that I must share.

A few years ago Mr. Marcus Wong (TGEG)introduced me to Joel Michaud.
I had no idea who this young man was.

At that time I had two guitars on the way , so I wasn't really looking for another commission.
Thank god Marcus stepped in and things have never been the same.

Joel Michaud without a doubt, has given me the best guitar that is simply spectacular!!

His craftsmanship is exceptional, and his tone is brilliant ! I just love it! Plus, he kept his word and delivered my guitar on time!

Thank you Marcus and the Golden Era Guitar for introducing me to such a wonderful luthier.!

I have this Michaud for a few months now, so basically the honeymoon stage is over.
It plays and sounds like a dream!

I had the chance a few weeks ago to visit Joel's shop. Not only is he extremely talented, but a kind and generous individual. We spent several hours touring his shop and discussing all aspects of guitar building, with a peek at some of the woods he has on hand

. It was both a delight and an education.

When did you receive your guitar from Joel? I think yours might have been the next guitar after I received my J-R.

I got my OM-R from Joel in September 2018, i actually played your guitar in his shop. Very nice!

Hey Paul! Thanks so much for the shout out, but most importantly, congratulations on loving your new Michaud! Those woods are absolutely incredible - aren't you glad you got them early on

I'm honoured to have been a part of a build as spectacular as this and I look forward to what's cooking again real soon... heh

I know you had played and even almost owned a few guitars costing more than double/triple your Michaud during the build process so I'm relieved to see what you had to say about your OM-R! Also glad to see many new Michaud owners chiming in

I live in Monttreal and had the opportunity to play a few guitars Joel had ready for shipping.
I believe the J-R with the monster tone I played was yours! You're very fortunate to own that beauty!
