Dearmond 210 without drilling

I wanted to install a dearmond model 210 pickup in my vintage Gibson acoustic
But I didn’t want to drill any holes or do any mods that could not be reversed
In case I wanted to sell it is there anyway to do this? I didn’t just want to have the cable running out of the sound hole but I don’t want to permanently alter my guitar.

Others may give you a better reply soon, but I believe there are narrow diameter endpin jacks that might not require you to enlarge that hole, assuming your guitar has an endpin.

And the simple, no cost, option is (as you have noticed) to leave the cord outside the guitar body. If you wear a strap when you play, you could route the cable run to run through the area where the strap attached to the end pin to keep if out of in front of you while playing (similar to how many electric guitarists route their cords.)

I could suppose someone might devise a way to hook in a wireless "bug" that would connect to the DeArmond and they would sit inside the guitar, perhaps with a short cable to allow recharging of the wireless bug.
