Identification Help: Info on this old Takamine 12-String

I rolled the dice and bought an old Takamine 12-String from a private seller, despite being unable to find anything about the guitar model on the Internet. I wrote to Takamine (Japan), and they wrote back that it looks authentic, but that they have no information about the model. Can anyone out there shed any light on this guitar, such as when it was made, approximate value, etc? Wood used in construction? Virtually anything?

Model from label: WG-11A No serial number, no anything printed anywhere.

I'd post an image, but I don't see a way to do that here.

It's a Takamine Diastone c.1970.

Awesome detective work! My label is not the same, but in all other respects the guitar is identical. The label on mine looks like its a more standard rectangular Takamine label. Perhaps mine was an earlier (or later) production run. Thank you.
