Default Hip Replacement Surgery Update.

I came home today from a successful hip replacement. The whole thing took a day and a half.
Many thanks to all who wished me well. So far, the post surgery pain hasn't t been too bad and of course I'm up and walking around with a good old walker.
The Doc told me I'll be off that and on a cane in a week or so.
Can't wait to get back to where I can perform again.

Congratulations,
I had a knee replacement four years ago and couldn’t be happier.
All the best!

Congrats! Glad it worked out. I go for rotator cuff repair surgery on Thursday, so I'm off playing for a couple of months.

Follow instructions to the letter even if they seem silly at the time .
I know of some that did not and paid a nasty price .
Take your time and may you never need to look back .

Hi Rokdog, I was thinking abot you yesterday and remindnig myself to ask after you.

Allgood news, but like my wife always says to me "don't over do it! Allow your body to heal, boring I know.

All the best for the next gig and your new limbo dancing career!

Hi Silly,
Thanks for inquiring.
It's only been three days since the surgery and while I'm sticking with the walker,I can walk without it.
Amazing stuff.
