I thought that was their norm. I'm going to double check my email from Kevin.
When I was starting the buying process for mine, I enquired via email about paying in full up front, and this is what I was told:

"When ordering from the website you have to pay the full price. However I can send you a 50% paypal invoice for the amount to secure your build and you pay the rest on completion."

This makes sense for sure. I wonder with Alistair away who's doing all the final checks that he normally does and if they've been doing videos of all the guitars that shipped during the last few weeks.

Take it easy - this weekend is St. Paddy’s day, and I don’t think you want a guitar that was built in Ireland during or just after that day, if you get my drift!

Yes I guess I have been on the forums. Soon the old ball and chain will have my internet connection deactivated. And wait till she hears I have a nylon guitar itch all of a sudden. I'm doomed!

GuitarLuva;

You're safe. Years ago, while on an International Truck forum, a man said that he had just purchased yet another truck. He came home having rumpled his shirt and with lipstick on his cheek--his wife immediately accused him of having purchased another truck. Contrary to some male thinking, women are pretty smart and they know what us guys are up to. In the truck example, the wife knew and forgave--the truck was not an infidelity and it wasn't a bank buster. I like to say that if daddy is not happy, no ones happy. I hope you and your love mate are happy with your new guitar. You did tell her it was for her, didn't you?

Haha you're absolutely right. She definitely takes her shots at me but she does know when I'm truly not happy. If I told her it was for her there might be a new Ebay ad created.

Well that and the fact that Kramster is great at comforting the "waiters" regarding how fast his ship.

My comment was supposed to be funny but flopped. It's all good.

And don't forget all Emerald guitars stop at Kramster's house for a final inspection before they reach the buyer.
