Default Taylor GC5e 2010 Cedar/Mahogany Grand Concert - Reduced!

$1795 OBO + Free Shipping CONUS via Paypal
3/30 - Reduced $1550 with free shipping CONUS via Paypal net to me.
4/4- Reduced $1450 or best reasonable offer with free shipping CONUS via Paypal net to me.

Very good condition. No cracks or repairs. Properly humidified. Nonsmoking home. There are two finish dents on the top. There's one small dent on the bottom near the plug-in. There's small surface/finish scratches from years of good use on top, back and sides, but it's all cosmetic. I tried to capture the top imperfections but the finish scuffs don't show too well. None of the imperfections affect the structural integrity or sound. This is an imperfect perfect guitar who has had a good run and is ready for the next chapter.

Comes with the original case. The case has one latch that is broken, it's the latch at the back of the case, the case is fully functional and the latch is in the pocket of the case. This guitar is no longer in production - you would need to custom order it from Taylor.

GC5e - From the Taylor Website:
Our small-body GC guitars are intimate and curvy, yet with volume that
belies their size. The slotted peghead and short-scale (24 7/8-inch)
neck deliver a more “woody” tone and an unbelievably easy feel on the
fretboard. The mahogany/cedar GC5 is a fingerstyle dream.

FEATURES:
• Shape - Grand Concert - A smaller-bodied guitar ideally suited for fingerstyle.
• Top Wood- Western Red Cedar - A true performer for those with a lighter touch, cedar tops yield extra warmth and pair nicely with mahogany and rosewood.
• Body Wood - Tropical Mahogany - A midrange powerhouse. Mahogany is prized for balance and articulation, making it one of the best all-around tonewoods there is.
• Electronics- Expression Systemฎ - The proprietary, all-magnetic acoustic guitar pickup/preamp works like a microphone to produce a pure signal and a warm, natural acoustic sound.
• Cutaway - Non-cutaway - The clean, symmetrical look of a traditional acoustic guitar.
SPECIFICATIONS:
• Scale Length - 24-7/8"
• Nut & Saddle - Tusq
• Bracing - Forward Shifted Pattern with Relief Rout
• Truss Rod Cover - Indian Rosewood
• Pickguard - None
• Number of Frets - 20
• Tuners - Taylor Slot Head
• Case - Taylor Deluxe Hardshell Brown
• Body Length - 19 1/2"

Please ask questions or request photos of specifics if you want them, and I'll be more than happy to provide.
Free shipping to CONUS only. FedEx Ground with direct signature required. No trade inquires, please. Thanks

I have a Taylor GC8, and IMO the grand concert the sleeper of Taylor body shapes. Love this wood combo too! Good luck with the sale.

Bump. This tonewood combination is one of the best, especially in a small bodied guitar like this grand concert.

Reduced again. It's imperfectly perfect. Or is it perfectly imperfect? You decide.
New photos on the reverb link in original post. thanks.

Bump for a flat-out superb guitar!
I owned a GA7e, and how Taylor builds cedar-topped guits is awesome! It was my go-to live guitar for years: killer tone! Not to mention a 2010 has the ES1.3, the best-sounding iteration of them all, imho. I'd buy it myself if I had the discretionary dough, and if it had a cutaway, I'd have to create an excuse to snag this! GLWTS

Bump for one great guitar. Maybe a little imperfect on the outside, but it's perfect on the inside. Amazing tone and clarity.
