I have been enjoying listening to the songs you have posted and learning new ones.

I stumbled over another beautiful fingerpicked song about life

Ralph McTell - Streets Of London

So many....
Look into Paul Simon's early S&G recordings:
Sparrow, I Am A Rock, Hazy Shade of Winter, Cloudy...

Then there's always Neil's After The Goldrush.

I guess I'm dating myself.

No shortage of tunes on these topics.

One of my favorite songs of all time...Ripple, by the Grateful Dead. I love the collaborative version done by Playing For Change.

As an old Canadian guy, I recommend checking out the work of some old Canadian songwriters:

Bruce Cockburn
Ian Tyson
Gord Lightfoot
Kate & Anna McGarrigle
Connie Kaldor

From the OP
"Also somewhat melancholic or deep songs about life."
looks like it is going to get deep and melancholy pretty quick

Living my life by the days - Vic Sims

It's about the depth of life as told by Vic Sims, after hearing him interviewed on this podcast, I had to learn the song.
