Hiscox fit for Eastman E1D?
Looking to pickup a Hiscox Standard Dreadnought case for my Eastman E1D.
Does anyone have experience with this fit? I'd imagine the fit would be the similar across the entire Eastman E𝑥D range. Cheers. |

Mine fits perfectly. Yours should as well.

Checked out the specs + measured my E1D.
It appears that there's ample space for the lower bout, but cutting it very close for the upper bout (±0.5mm). |

Fairly sure that half a millimetre will make no difference, the lining has some ‘give’ in it.

Every dread (and slope shoulder) I've tried in my Hiscox has fit just fine.

For historical purposes...
Bought the Hiscox (standard) case a few weeks back. The initial fit was okay but there was enough room for the body to slide up and down (towards the headstock). Hot gluing an additional pad (manufactued by Hiscox) near the lower bout resulted in a near perfect, snug fit. |

Contact Hiscox and they will send you a couple of pads for free.
