Slingerland Archtop 1930's
I have a Slingerland archtop in the 1930's era in great condition with beautiful wood blond finish and a Grover Deluxe tailpiece. I have seen the tailpiece alone valued at Ebay for $350. Anybody have an idea of its worth?
I was going to insert some pictures but can't figure it out Last edited by Kerbie; 12-19-2019 at 12:12 PM. Reason: Removed prohibited info again. |

Here's a 1935 Slingerland Nitehawk for reference.

Thank you, mine is as I said blond natural finish, beautiful wood, black binding, original pick guard, head stock is inlaid with diamond shape wood inlaid.. But the shape of the guitar is exactly like the one you posted... And mine has the Grover Deluxe tailpiece...
At least now I have an idea... I googled and couldn't find anything to compare.. Thank You for your time and reply |

Most I've seen for sale are in the $500-$1500 range depending on condition.
I would get on ebay or reverb and search sold listings for Slingerland archtops. This will give you an idea of what people are willing to pay. I'm no expert on these but I don't recall seeing too many with a blonde finish. It sounds like yours might be on the higher end. Good luck with the sale!
