Default FS: National Estralita Deluxe Resonator - SOLD

Up for sale is an excellent condition 2002 wood body National Resonator guitar. These are so much fun to play. Alas, I have never been able to master slide as hoped, so I'm ready to send it off to a new home.

There are no issues and only a few little marks here and there. This one is fully opened up and sounds great. The wood body models are much sweeter to my ear and works great for "straight ahead fingerstyle". It is plenty loud and punchy ... like having a built in amplifier. Easy to play 12 fret neck. It is set up to favor fingerstyle - I would call it low-to-medium action and am using 13-56 strings.

You can find lots of information about these on the internet and this one is a "stock" model with all the standard specs.

Key points are:
  • Walnut Back and Sides
  • Flame Maple lam top
  • Round Walnut neck - bound fingerboard
  • Satin lacquer finish with sunburst top
  • Single National cone and tailpiece
  • 12 frets to the body, 19 total
  • ~1 13/16″ nut, 25 1/2″ scale.
  • Original National hardshell case

No trades please. ***SOLD*** $1675 includes shipping in CONUS. Split PayPal fees

The wood body Nationals really have a unique sound. If anyone is sitting on the fence about a National this is one of the best deals I've seen. I own 4 Nationals and have owned many more so I can comment on this one. These wood bodied Nationals bridge the gap between a traditional acoustic guitar and a resonator. They work best with fingerpicking styles and their midrange honk is surely nice to have in your bag!

Default sold pending payment

I made a demo recording over the Thanksgiving weekend with the hopes of stimulating some additional interest. I had never recorded this guitar but I think it came out pretty nice. Starting thinking "gee why do I want to sell this?"

But then a buyer came along anyway ... so it looks like it is sold folks. Thanks.
