Question Combining a Fishman UST with a K&K?

Hi,
I have K&K Passive Pure Western Mini's in all my guitars, Martins, Collings and Larrivees. I just picked up a cool little Eastman E1ss slope dread that came with a Fishman Sonitone installed that sounds, well, better than it has any right to. Couple of questions:

First, the preamp is part of the tone and volume wheel assembly instead of being part of the end jack. The entire assembly (except the battery) is stuck to a reinforced spot on the soundboard along the soundhole. How hard is it to get this un-stuck without damaging anything?

Second, since the Fishman preamp isn't part of the output jack assembly and the battery isn't wired to it is it possible to add the K&K to to the same jack and switch between both using a tip/sleeve arrangement? Or possibly use them both at once. The K&K doesn't have a volume control but the Fishman does. Bad idea?

Thanks.

Not sure but you could have an impedance problem. you may want to check the specs on the Sonitone preamp vs the active K&K preamp. You could just wire th3 K&K into the ring of the Sonitone preamp and use them both or access just the tip or the ring with a TRS cable.

The K&K is passive. No preamp.
