He really is an American treasure. The voice may not quite be there like it was, but the lyrics and humor are still there for sure.

I saw that video yesterday and was captivated. He's a treasure, and the rest of the band fit the bill as well. I wish the show had gone on for another hour.

Yup it's one of the P-01 or O-01 Parlor guitars.

No body binding, but they do have black neck binding that blends almost seamlessly with the ebony on the neck.

Jason Wilber was JPs side man for nearly 20 years. We still swap the occasional email since John's passing. Terrific singer- songwriter ( check out "King For a Day" ) and a spectacularly talented guitar player who can play in the style of virtually any legend you might think of.... He often sports a Tele. This one is his Larivee Parlour....
