Default Jarosz and da Costa....

Just stumbled upon this - very nice mix of chord voicings on the m-cello and guitar, great dynamics and harmonies....

Pretty sure that's one of her guitar bodied octave mandolins. I've had the pleasure of seeing (and hearing) Sarah Jarosz at Wintergrass. She and Darrell Anger hosted a fun octave mandolin workshop. We all sat around and swapped instruments for about an hour.

I thought it sounded in the higher registers, but saw the capo and the shape

Default These two...

Thank you for posting this. Both of them play and sing with so much emotion...so good! Those Ear Trumpet mics work exquisitely well for them!

He's doing some shows with May Erlewine this month out east - she's an absolute treasure.

I saw him on that tour with Sarah and also on another where he backed Aoife O'Donovan. He is a very sympathetic back up musician, but I also like his solo stuff too. I still live in hope he will tour the UK.
