Default Tab for this cool flamenco buleria falseta

Hey guys,

A couple of months ago I saw Rafael Cortes posted a video playing this piece on his Instagram and I just had to learn it. Thought I would put up a mini tutorial on YouTube for anyone else who wants to give it a shot. Enjoy!

Many thanks! I'll have a go at it ... after I master another piece that I'm studying.

BTW, I thought your sound test of the Yamaha CG182SF versus the Cordoba F7 Paco was nicely done. I have the older Yamaha CG171SF.

Happy learning Drop me a line if you need any help with it?

Thanks for checking out that comparison video. I really should do more of those actually. Both are great guitars. The Yamaha really cannot be beaten for the price.

Speaking of compas backing tracks, I came across this album that's available on all streaming services. It's "Tu Compás Flamenco - Loops y Bases" that was put together by Nasrine Rahmani.

I now use them for at-home practice. You can further slow-down the tracks on YouTube by changing the playback speed.

Here's an intro video:

Thank you for noticing! It takes a lot of time to edit those into the video compas can be very tricky, especially for buleria, so I thought it would be useful to have a visual reference

This is amazing!! I hadn't come across this before!! Thank you for giving me a heads up

I usually use the Arturo Ramon videos https://www.youtube.com/user/ArturoRamon1/playlists

Or the Jose Tanaka videos (which have counts, I used this in my video)
https://www.youtube.com/c/josetanaka/playlists

But I love the quality of the ones that Nasrin produced!!

You're welcome! They were credited in a tutorial video for Vicente Amigo's "Roma". It sounded so impressive and perfect that I thought that the creator had commissioned a professional backing track!

I think the flamenco community owes Ms. Rahmani much thanks and credit for making these available. I had come across Arturo Ramon's and Jose Tanaka's tracks too. IMHO, Nasrine's are the best to-date.

Definitely makes my practice more fun.
