This UMGF thread has some info that might be pertinent regarding case odors:
https://umgf.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t...90679#p2590679

and possibly this product:
http://www.starbrite.com/category/ch...w-odor-control

I have no experience with the product, but some with smelly cases.

Yeah, I think the issue I’ve had with deodorizers is that these cases just seem to be off-gassing continuously. So there doesn’t seem to be any amount of deodorizing that will work. I’ve tried activated carbon.

Simple solution: I’m going to order some cheap TKL cases and store my guitars in there. I’ll keep some flight cases for when I fly.

Smile Easy!

Good plan, which I heartily endorse
Nice cheap light inexpensive and non wood for better humidity control.

Then the tanks for air travel.

BTW, I LOVE my Mono Vertigo dread bag,
which will fit my RT2 or my former LKSM12! And all points in between
Haha

I use one or two for gigs where I am my own roadie…. Whew.

Cheers

Paul

What brand is Burton's new case? It's pretty freaking light, and sturdy enough to send my Tree from Boston to North Havana....

He’s using Visesnut. Great case. Not sure how to adjust one. But since I already have viable flight cases, I think I’ll keep one for each kind of guitar (OM, 000, etc) for travel . . . but use simple TKL for everyday use.
