I’d say that’s more than a tad optimistic. We’re getting almost to the price of a brand new Emerald X7, and can’t be that far off a Touring.

Oh, I agree. Maybe an older Cargo is now considered “vintage”.

Yup - if that’s the case, Tony could seriously consider his Kestrel

Got my son a Cargo back in 2010 as I considered it relatively bomb proof and of a good travel size. Still have it.

My sentiments exactly. However, it is nice to know some are trying hard to "up" the value of our Cargos.

As I recall, the Touring typically is priced around $2700, though if you look for deals, they can sometimes be had. I got both of mine at decent discounts.

I do agree that the Cargo in question seems priced rather high. But then, I think most people seem to accept that the current value of a thing is based on whatever the last one sold for rather than having any sort of true inherent value base on the object itself.

Especially with the Cargo for some reason, these are very surprisingly good when we occasionally pick them up to play. Your Cargo is a keeper.

Or, if I wait long enough, a house in an upscale neighborhood.

On the subject of neck length (size does matter...), I do recall that some folks didn't care for the the 22" scale of the Cargo (and now Touring). Personally, I like it because some of the longer chordal reaches aren't so long after all.

Unfortunately, no I don't. Who is that? Maybe it is a bit difficult to see clearly on my screen?
