Pristine 2014 Martin HD-35
I'm putting for sale my stellar Martin HD-35. This is such a versatile guitar, with a nice boom for rhythm playing while holding some intricacy and panache for fingerpicking.
It has a sitka spruce top, EIR back and sides, with a 3 piece back. This one is an absolute joy to play, with very playable action and the classic Martin neck. Here are the specs from Martin: BODY SIZE: D-14 Fret FINISH TOP: Gloss CONSTRUCTION: Dovetail Neck Joint BACK & SIDE FINISH: Gloss BRACING PATTERN: Modern SCALE LENGTH: 25.4" BRACE SHAPE: Scalloped FINGERBOARD WIDTH AT NUT: 1 11/16'' TOP MATERIAL: Sitka Spruce NECK SHAPE: Modified Low Oval BACK MATERIAL: East Indian Rosewood NECK TAPER: High-Performance Taper SIDE MATERIAL: East Indian Rosewood ELECTRONICS: None I'll have to revise that last piece though - it has an LR Baggs I-beam pickup professionally installed. The end pin is in the case also. The case itself is the OMHSC. I hesitate to put the condition of any guitar as mint, but this is pretty much mint - I can't find any blemish or flaw on it, and the frets are in pristine shape. There are some pick swirls that you can find if you squint just right. I'm hoping for a sale at $2500 plus shipping, paypal F/F. I may have some interest in a trade at some point. Nice guitar but your specs are wrong. Yours is a 2014, so it is before the “Reimagined” updates that Martin currently has on their website for the model.
Yours has the 1 11/16 nut Low Profile neck with 2 1/8” string spacing. Also the top bracing would be modern position and not ‘forward shifted’. GLWS
