Very, very nice! That cross-silking is gorgeous and the burst too! I can't imagine anyone covering that with massive opaque pickguards, thankfully.

It looks like it should have tail fins and chrome headlights.

boom they are nice. I do love Gibson’s esp the gram Parsons era Stones stuff. Think they may have been using Doves or something?
But for that beautiful strumming Gibson sound I love em

Personally I love the look of the new re-issue, AND the tv yellow version (in fact that yellow would be my preferred option). But I'm also a massive fan of the old Fender antigua finish too.

Bye bye tone
Bye bye responsiveness
Hello loneliness
I think I'm-a gonna cry
Bye bye tone
Bye bye strum caress
Wallet emptiness
I feel like I could die
Bye bye guitar goodbye

You would think right? I always thought the double pickguard would be a tone sucker.

I own a 1999 J180, and surprisingly - its great tone wise, and just as loud as my J200.

Default New Everly Brothers J-200

Love the Everlys. Hate this guitar - it’s Gha-a-ahstly da-a-a-ahling, Gha-a-a-ahstly!

But it’s Marmite for sure - a guy in my band absolutely loves it!
