Default I have two

I have both the EGO and an older electric Toro that also mulches that was mentioned earlier in this thread. One neat trick with the Toro - the long blower attachment is an exact fit for plastic downspouts. You can create a gutter cleaner with these. Looks hilarious but it worked for me when my wife and I used to live in a colonial style house with a second floor. I could reach way up at second floor level and blow out the gutters in late fall. There’s a few Youtubers out there that have videos on this. As far as I know only the Toro makes this easy.

Leaf blowers are great for removing grass and dirt of off of concrete. If you live in an association that has strict rules they are a huge benefit to have. Where we live now there’s no sidewalk, but it makes blowing leaves back into the woods that don’t get mulched by the mower a lot easier.

I bought my parents an Echo handheld for Christmas two years ago. It didn’t last a year. They sent it in for service under warranty. Echo refused to cover it. My 70+ year old dad wasn’t going to spend more $ on a lawyer than it took to buy a replacement, so he went with a similar sized item from Stihl. No issues. Lesson learned.

I have owned Stihl products, blower, edger, trimmer, for years. Reliable product, perform what they are built to do, very satisfied. Change the plugs and keep the fuel clean, they will last for years.

But is he gas or electric?

Corded or cordless?

Enquiring minds want to know!

Or not

Our 20 year old lawn mower needs some parts that are no longer
available from the manufacturer... I went and looked at an EGO
today... 6 ten-ah batteries... we haven't decided yet... it is probably
a beast... no belts.
