Bilt S.S. Zaftig-Sold
$xxxx https://reverb.com/item/31006406-bil...-mist-metallic Selling my brand new and mint (less than 3 hrs play time) Bilt S.S. Zaftig. Bilt guitars are 100% handmade in Des Moines, Iowa by a few guys, and take inspiration from classic Fender offsets, with modern updates that make them incredibly versatile and reliable instruments. If you’re a fan of Jazzmasters/Jaguars, I highly recommend checking out Bilt if you aren’t already familiar with their work. I custom ordered this Zaftig from the guys in September of last year, and it arrived at the end of November. The color is faded Burgundy Mist Metallic, and Bilt custom-mixed a color based on photos I sent them of vintage BMM guitars that had faded/yellowed out over the years. The finish is full nitro, over a roasted alder body. The rest of the specs are as follows: -roasted semi-hollow Alder body and dark-roasted maple neck. -hand-carved vintage C neck shape based on a 1965 Jazzmaster neck w/ black dots and binding -Lollar Regal WRHB in the bridge and Lollar Jazzmaster neck pickup -JM-style rhythm circuit -Mastery Bilt-branded vibrato and bridge -Bilt TKL soft case $xxxx shipped via PayPal F&F Last edited by rc3797; 02-02-2020 at 03:42 PM. To the top! I would also consider trading for a Huss and Dalton Dreadnought, either a TD-M or DS crossroads...

Bump to the top! Anyone got a H&D dreadnought out there for trade? I would sell the guitar outright for $2400 shipped for AGF members, or if you’re relatively local and willing to drive a little, I’ll knock another $50 off and drive to meet. Same goes for any trade deal we may be able to work out. I’m always willing to work with you to make a deal happen!

ANOTHER price reduction!
To the top!
The opportunity to purchase my “dream” Huss and Dalton happened to sort of fall into my lap this afternoon. In hopes of expediting a quick sale to fund that purchase, I am no longer looking for other trade offers, but am willing to include ANOTHER price drop to $2275 shipped! |

Bump. I had a couple questions about this. Nut width is 1 11/16ths, and it weighs in right around 6 lbs (a little less) on my bathroom scale-crazy light for a bolt-on alder semi-hollow! The roasting process Bilt uses on their bodies and necks, combined with the thin nitro finish, makes the guitar really resonant and lively.

To the top again. I’ve got a potential trade-in offer, so I may end up taking that. If you’ve been eyeing this, now’s your chance to get a deal!
