Default Any tips for cleaning a Hoffee or Calton Case?

I'm looking for a way to clean white marks from rubbing against something else from a Hoffee or Calton case. I haven't tried anything yet, but if nobody here has a solution, I'll start with soap and water. :-)

Thanks

If by white marks you mean paint from bumping against a wall, then that's super easy to clean off because it's on the surface. I find I can get rid of such blemishes with targeted use of my fingernail.

For most other stuff soap, water, and a soft cloth will do the trick. I wouldn't use anything chemical.

That’s what I was thinking. Thanks.

Default Use liquid Turtle Wax (or any liquid) car polish

I had an issue with a couple of white scuffs on a red carbon Hoffee case. The white is actually part of the case material, not something from an external source. Anyway, Jeff Hoffee told me to use anything liquid with a little bit of fine grit to it. I used liquid Turtle Wax polish for my car. It was total magic...every last mark disappeared with very little rubbing. I highly recommend any liquid car polish. Good luck!

Magic Eraser is another product you might consider.

Yeppers Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Pads...heavy duty version...are pretty amazing at what they can remove. Use one lightly wet first then another dry if needed...rub lightly. The liquid car wax is a great idea too, as that will polish back a little bit as it takes out the marks.

duff
Be A Player...Not A Polisher

Well, which is it, be a polisher or don't be a polisher?

Sorry, couldn't resist
