It seems sometimes the vintage guitar market has been hyped to be fraught with certain vintages of guitars that have magical tonality. I think reality might suggest otherwise in completely blind and objective testing. Having said that, if a particular instrument gives you inspiration that others can’t match, then the difference might indeed be easily measurable and significant. I think I may just not have the knowledge and fine ear to hear the subtleties. Which might be both blessing and curse.
