Default EV Evolve 30m Owners - Any Regrets?

I'm about to pop for a EV Evolve 30M. Price seems good, decent reviews and at 70 I'm getting tired of lugging my Schertler Jam 400 (no matter how good it sounds, BTW, for sale in the Classifieds).

So before I make the leap, any concerns from current owners?

I have the 30M and the 50M. If you think you will ever need more than 5 XLR channels go ahead and get the 50M. They both work as advertised and I think they sound great.

No regrets. Shop around. I bought my Evolve 50 brand new for $1199.

For me no regrets. I made the purchase 3 week ago,
I like the sound dispersion and the possibility of mixing with the tablet or cell.

Love my EV30! App is the best on the market and weight is very manageable. Only thing to consider is if you need the 180 degree dispersion only Bose provides.

Sweetwater just made it difficult not to buy, bless their hearts. Looks like I'll pop for the 30M today.

Would be an interesting comparison vs the new JBL EON Mk2

I had the EON ONE Compact long enough to return it before replacing it w/ a QSC CP-8. I've enjoyed the JBL sound until I didn't.

I personally don't need a rechargeable battery and i like the preamp section of the EV. But if you need to play far away from a wall socket, the EV isn't the unit.

The Eon One MkII sounds really boxy in videos too (mostly Vietnamese karaoke demos). Not a fan of their speakers across all ranges.

No regrets for my EV30M. Only think I wish is that the effects were better, but they are certainly useable.

Only regret, wish columns were adjustable and could pivot.

Now that I think about it....the handle position makes it kind of awkward to carry....it's not balanced well.
