Default What guitar has your fingers itching...

Is there ONE guitar that you own or have played that you find yourself thinking about at work, when driving, when no guitar is in your hands? Like love, is there one that, for you is THE ONE?

Not really. I think I would like a Martin 000, but I don't lust after it, no.

Pretty sure -- yeah -- I think so -- but I'm not after it just for its body.

Yup. Played a Taylor GC7 in a shop once, couldn't afford it (still can't). Still think about it.

I've played for over 50 years and owned/played my share of guitars.

I have an obsession with an oddly configured little Custom Shop Martin 00-DB I found at Wildwood Music about four months ago.

It has a deep body, long scale, Golden Era bracing, MLO PA neck, and Adirondack top. Absolutely flipping' perfect for my needs/tastes in size/tone/playability.

I knew it was special when I bought it, but I can't put it down. I learn more about it every day.

I'd seek help for this obsession, but alas, it would take time away from playing/thinking/talking about it.

I've got the guitars that work great for me. But there's a J 100 extra with mahogany back and sides that I play whenever I drop by the local shop. I've never owned a Jumbo 6 string, and it's tempting.

Martin 000-42M EC. I just got a 1995 000-42EC and I can't help myself.

If you are wondering how I am still married. - I'm not.

I pulled the trigger on it about a month ago! Been wanting one for a couple of years.......

Goodall CCJ - German Spruce top with Cocobolo back and sides. Since then, it's been hard to play anything else.

With what I already have, its a little hard to get too interested in others. As the great hitman Jules said in "Pulp Fiction", "That would have to be one charmin' pig"

I personally have got to get in my possession a Yamaha L-series. All of them have such a great sound. I'm hoping I'll be able to get one whilst in Cambodia 😁

Martin HD-28V

I've never played a Gibson J-15 but I am itching to try one.
