Emerald X20 Select Series Woody Birds Eye Maple SOLD
Bought this last month here on the forum and after trying to fall in love and bond with it, I'm moving on (don't know what the issue is but guitar love is fickle). Spotless and mint, if you ever wanted an Emerald Woody, you won't find a nicer one. This was the first monthly edition (January 2017) from the Emerald's Custom Shop Select Series and features beautiful Birds Eye Maple veneer, gold Gotoh 510 tuners (18:1), an LR Baggs Element Active System and comes with a custom Hiscox Lite Flite case. 1 3/4" nut, standard scale and string spacing is 2 1/4". No trades please.

After 45 years of playing and buying guitars (my first was a $20 Harmony) I'm still clueless about why we fall in love with some guitars the moment we pick them up and some only after playing them. Then there are guitars that our brain and experience tells us should be perfect for us but there's something missing. This guitar is beautifully built, gorgeous, in mint condition, has a 1 3/4" nut, string spacing I like but......after 45 years, I've learned not to force love - it's there or it isn't.
Short answer - I wish I could tell you why but I just don't know. BTW, I've sold a few guitars to friends who swear they'll be buried with them - I thought they were average.

I recently received the Emerald X30 Jumbo.
It's one of the finest sounding guitars Ive ever heard, stacks up to anything I currently have in my signature! Happy hunting!
