Default 1977 Martin D-18

I know the 70’s weren’t the best years for Martin but pulled the trigger on this after talking with the guitar tech at Dave’s in Milwaukee, WI. It arrives on Monday.

Cool guitar. I could only dream of that type of guitar when I graduated HS in '73. Enjoy it!

I was watching that one on Reverb - listing ended last night or this morning. It looked to be in really good condition - my guess is that it will sound amazing.

The tech said it sounded great and they will miss it. He also said most 70’s that come in need a lot of work but this one was an exception. I guess I’ll find out Monday.

Congrats on the D18 . I have a modern D18 and love it . I have a 72 D35 on its way here , so hoping it turns out like your NGD.

If it does sound good, I'm jealous. I love my 2017 but I would certainly enjoy one like yours withthe different bracing etc.
Congrats and let us know how she sounds and plays!
