Nice Performance & the Mellotron effect sounds awesome! How do you set your Strymon El Capistan's controls to get that wonderful sound? Thanks!

Very nice job on this, James!

Great arrangement, nice playing, and great job on the recording!

What are you using for mics? Just curious...

Awesome James, one of my favorite Beatles songs for sure.

What is your recording setup? It really sounded fantastic.

Thanks! Pretty simple really. Nuemann KM184's in a split X/Y (look at bottom of video to see spacing) going into a UA Apollo twin to logic pro. I used a compresser plugin in mixdown (waves CLA-2A) plus some eq, which I place after the compressor. I also try to change strings 2 days before I record.

The guitar, a 1999 Lowden O25-c, really does sound like that in person. It's a great sounding guitar. That's at least 80% of it.

Thanks for the feedback. Based on your experience and recommendations, I also bought the Waves CLA-2A plug in and I really like it. It’s simple and straightforward to use. What EQ plug-in do you prefer?

Can’t wait to hear that new Edwinson, won’t be too long.
