Just got comfortable with Yellow Backed Fly by the Steep Canyon Rangers.

Printed chords and lyrics for Poncho and Lefty yesterday.

Can't Find My Way Home....... Steve Winwood.

Vocal is up there.

To Love Somebody..........Bee Gees

I try to come up with my own style. Sometimes takes a bit to come up with.

Have to get the original out of my head first.

I've never been that disciplined around learning others' tunes so I'm really happy with my progress on Anji, the Bert Jansch arrangement. I just need to practise the outro section a bit.
Rainy Night in Georgia a la Brook Benton. I've got the Cornell Dupree guitar part down but need to work it into a more full solo arrangement.

Default I just taught myself

...this really nice finger style progression by this unknown guitarist in a Taylor 317 advertisement. I heard him play it once and thought "I've got to learn that!"
I watched it a few times and started picking it out, and now I can do it.

Not a tune, but slowly working my way through "the art of contemporary Travis Picking" by Mark Hanson. Really noticed my lack of some basics. Mostly played riffs on electric, so actual chord playing is the part I need to practice. But as far as I'm concerned, what I'm doing now is the first time I'm really playing and practicing.

Found an arrangement of Autumn Leaves I can play, still needs some polish.

I guess I'll tackle a fingerstyle arrangement of "Otherside" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers next. It's by Eiro Nareth.

The Rainbow Connection by Kermit the Frog. And no, I’m not kidding. I love this song…lol!

My electrics have just been gathering dust, it’s been all Bluegrass lately. I started working with a mandolin player and a singer working up some songs. I have been building speed on my Whiskey For Breakfast lead break and finishing up a lead break for Will the Circle be unbroken.

Working on Never Going Back Again by Fleetwood Mac (which has some chord fretting that's killing me) and One by Metallica.

Several other exceptional guitars, but these make me smile and keep me inspired!

Kenny Smith's versions of Sally Goodin and Angeline the Baker. His syncopations, timing and rhythm make what are relatively simple fiddle tunes pretty challenging. He is becoming my favorite (currently active) flatpicker as of late.
