In the waning days before Christmas there's not much going on but - Tuba Christmas. Tubas from all over the U.S. and some from Canada come together for tuba fun.

Hudson Yards view (around 34th street) from the Highline (yesterday, a lovely cloudy, warm day). The Highline is a park created on the New York Central Railroad spur on the west side of Manhattan in New York City.

Appreciate that, thank you. Sometimes you just have to click the shutter, it’s just happening in front of you.

Mr Paul,
If you have C&R fishing in that stream, that is the perfect front yard and I want to live with you. What part of the country?

Still mighty smoky here - there's a woodchip mill on the other side of the bay with 75,000 tonne on fire.

Bruce, the scale of devastation is heartbreaking ... with no end in sight.

Hi Jack,

We get some Brook trout in the summer and some guests have had some catch and release fun over the years. If I were a fisherman I'd deepen one part of the creek to encourage the trout to stick around and grow.

We're at the base of the Sangre Dr Cristo range in Colorado.
