Late to the thread but, man, that is beautiful. Love the finish, and how it works so well with the rosette.

Got notice it's out for delivery. I really need to go to the grocery. Maybe it's a good day to diet.

Thank you sir. It's a good thing Steve got some pics of it before I got my grubby fingerprints all over it.

Actually, I do plan to post a review and some sound samples of this very impressive guitar. I need a bit of time to, like you said, get to know it and let it acclimate completely. So far, my impression is it has some thick, meaty trebbles and some deep bass for an OM sized guitar. The neck, setup, string spacing and playability are exactly what I wanted/ordered. The upper fret access is great with that cutaway, which is important to me for the pieces I capo up on.

More soon.

Ridiculously beautiful coloration on that guitar! Steve’s guitars seem to take a little wake-up time…not much, and when they do, they truly blossom. Mine did, as did the guitars at BIG. I have no doubt that it will sound more and more special as it gets play time and love.

Hi guys - if anybody is interested in hearing it, I just posted a video in this thread:

https://www.acousticguitarforum.com/...d.php?t=631677

It's interesting how it almost looks red under the video light. I hadn't noticed that before

Yeah, it's interesting how red this guitar looks in lighting you used for the video. I used TransTint Medium Brown and black to tint the lacquer. The finish is pretty transparent under strong light, so it looks like the base of those tints has a strong red component.
Let's see if I can imbed this video...
