I can't believe it. That was one beautiful guitar.

Anyway. Congrats on the Lakewood. Sounds like you have a winner. I have to check them out.
Neither did anyone else! I really hadn't planned it so soon.

I did get some good advice on Lakewoods before I went to play it. They are either really great, or really mediocre. Saturday, I played both kinds... so if you play one and it doesn't hit you, don't write them off. When they are good, they're pretty amazing, so I'm told, and so my experience tells me.

Hiya, DH!

No, I took a road trip up to Wildwood Music in Ohio (about 5 hours each way) on Saturday, and found this beauty. It had lots of competition, too. But it won... now, I'm getting ready to send it off for a setup.

Wade, do you realize that this is the TAYLOR GUITAR FORUM?! Taylor, got it? You can't come in here bragging about some beautiful looking, sweet sounding guitar made by someone else - without our celebrating with you!

One of the things I like best about our TGF family is our relative lack of Taylor-only blinders. Oh, we love our Taylors, but seldom will anyone try to build them up by trashing other fine guitars. We hear of that, occasionally, from other forums.

Got yourself one very interesting music machine there, buddy. Congratulations!

Wade

It's a beauty!

I've been considering a Lakewood for my next purchase, unless there's a Taylorstock II.

I love the look of that guitar. Congratulations, dude!
