Cool video and song, but what I want to know is what model is that split diamond Gibson acoustic that cat is playing? I want one!

Dunno about the Gibson, but that "guy" playing it is Rick Parfitt OBE (12 October 1948 – 24 December 2016).

This band - Status Quo had a hit with this number back in 1968.

After this the band evolved into a (very loud) heavy rock band
more like this:



and

All simple riffs, double denim, balding ponytails and Fender Teles, and much loved by thousands.

Francis Rossi (who has been leading this band since 1962!) continues to perform and tour.

why did you put "guy" in quotes? Are there no cool "cats" by you?

Quo were the first band i saw live - great rock band who have sold over 120 million records worldwide.

Never really made it in the US, but were huge in UK and rest of Europe /Australia.

Opened Live Aid, and has been stated, Rick Parfitt sadly died in Dec 2016 - one of rocks great Rhythm guitarists.
