Sahlstrom 000 Master Grade Sinker Cedar over Master Grade EIR (milled in 1960!)
This is an heirloom-worthy guitar from Joel Sahlstrom. Built in 2017, I purchased this guitar and simply put it away with a few others. It is essentially unplayed, other than a few strums. Downsizing, it's time to find a new owner who will hopefully use it more than I ever did. The sound is no less than mesmerizing, and the build and materials are even more amazing - including the RW back & sides which were milled in 1960. Priced thousands less than the purchase price at the time, and even more so than what it would cost now to build - if those materials could even be sourced today.
Note: the multi-positioned side port was a first for Joel. It is spring-loaded and has opens in three positions, including fully-closed. Pretty ingenious. Wow Gary, you always have the most beautiful instruments. Another stunner for sure. Maybe one of these days I will have the funds to get one. Great guy to deal with folks. Definitely goes above and beyond to help and answer questions.

As new, incredible build from Joel Sahlstrom. Features revolutionary new sound port design. The EIR b&s were milled in 1960. You simply cannot source wood like this anymore.
