Man, that is a sweet looking guitar. It's checking all the boxes I want on my forever Tele. You even put the switch in the correct place!

Nice. Better be sure it doesn't fall off the chair. Wait, no...it's a tele. It will be fine and in fact, all the better after showing a battle scar from falling off the chair.

Here is one that I kind of regret selling, a Fender Baja Tele. The amp is a Tweed Deluxe 5E3 clone by Sara Richter, which I still own.

The Baja tele is their 50's version, with a wonderful V neck shape, 9.5" radius, and bigger frets. I liked all that, and the various pickup options, which included a 4th position to run the pickups in series.

I wasn't to fond of the heavier weight, and the slicker thicker poly finish. Minute details perhaps, but I was not playing the guitar a ton, plus I needed to pay for a new mountain bike, so off it went..

Eventually I'll get a new Tele style guitar that is lighter and perhaps with a nitro finish. I have thought about buying a loaded Roadworn Tele body, and then ordering a neck from Warmoth to my specs. My Eastman t59 has a 12" radius, 1 3/4 nut and medium jumbo frets, and its really nice. As a mostly acoustic player I appreciate the extra space.

I haven't regretted many of my sales - but I do regret selling my Baja. It was around 7 pounds. I don't think the new ones they replaced the Bajas with are as good.

Yea that is a light Baja. Mine was nowhere near that weight. I never actually weighed it, but it was quite heavy. I guess the new current equivalent is the Vintera 50's Modified Tele? I have not played one but it looks nice. I am hoping they come out with a Vintera Roadworn Tele with a more modern neck.
