Martin Retro Monel vs Nickel?

I have been using Martin Retro Monel MM12 on a mahogany guitar for several years.
I mistakenly purchased Martin Retro Nickel MM12.
Are they similar or should I take them back and exchange?
Anyone tried both?

These are the same strings, just a new design of the wrap.

Possibly, 'Nickel' meant as a warning for people with nickel allergy.
But you can see 'Monel' written several times within the blue circle on the package.
