Snap-on/off backs.
When are those coming?

The problem is once you find a back that you like, what do you do with the other nine?

Paper gasket sounds good, but what of zipper or ziploc? A different back for each night of the week - Madagascar Rosewood for tonight, Zebrawood tomorrow...

I can just hear the commercial..."Snap on..snap off....snap on snap off...the snapper."
Good luck getting that jingle out of your head now...

You could probably make one snap into place with a thin rubber rope grommet. Of course what goes on easy, can also come off easy. Which would bring new meaning to "watch your back".

That would do just fine for me. Fixing braces would be a treat.

If you had a back binding that could interlock with both the back, and sides - sort of like a Zip-Loc bag does, then you could just peel the binding off and remove the back. You would have to have a brace between the neck heel and tail block though, OTW the neck would just sort of flop around.

If the center third of the back was glued on, and both sides were detachable...this isn't going anywhere, is it?
